For those clients seeking to keep the cost of their divorce case low, yet are unsure on how to proceed, this law firm provides limited scope representation to self-represented parties (Pro Se).
The purpose of my limited scope representation is to counsel Pro Se clients, and draft the appropriate pleadings to accomplish the Pro Se client's goal. My goal is for their pleadings to meet their individual needs, and the Court’s requirements, while providing sound legal advice.
I provide and review the legal pleadings, advise clients on the general procedure for filing the pleadings, obtaining service of process, setting a hearing, the Judge’s expectations at hearings, as well as discuss all other matters which I could anticipate them facing. The client is responsible for filing the pleadings, obtaining proper service, scheduling hearings, giving proper notice, attending hearings and presenting evidence. I do not appear in Court to represent you.
In the event a Pro Se client is in need of future legal services I am available for additional legal counseling or appearances in Court. However, these additional services are not included in the initial fee, and will be billed at the attorney’s hourly rate.
